How To Remove An Assignment From Google Classroom If you, as a teacher has added an assignment by mistake on Google Classroom, you can quickly delete it or edit it, depending on your needs. After you open the Google Classroom app, go to the class you want. If you posted by mistake the assignment and want to make it draft or change anything, you can see the assignment in the Stream section on the Classwork section. If you see it in the Stream, you can not delete it. You can edit it. So tap on the three dots menu and select Edit. You can do all updates or maybe schedule it for another time or make it a draft, only for you visible. If you wish to delete the assignment entirely, go to the Classwork section. Tap on the button Classwork. You will see the list of the assignments and all of the questions and data you added as a teacher. Tap on the three dots menu. Select Delete. Please note as this is important: all comments and grades will be deleted. There is no trash zone where you can recover this so, please be sure if you want to delete the assignment. Tap on Delete. Now the assignment has been Deleted.

The classroom does not have a messenger app system For you to send a private message, you will have to send a private comment. How To Turn Off Comments In Google Classroom If you are a teacher and have administrative privileges on a Class, you can turn off comments. There are multiple levels, and we will talk a bit about this. First of all, open Google Classroom App. Go to the Classes section. Here tap on the class you wish to change the comments. On the top of this page, if you have administrative privileges, you will have a Settings icon. Tap on that icon. Go to the bottom Here you will have the option Stream Settings. Tap on that section. • Students can post and comment—This option is the default. Students can post on the class stream and comment on any item. • Students can only comment—Students can comment on an existing post, but can't create a post. • Only teachers can post or comment—Students can't post or comment. This option mutes all students. If you wish to disable comments, just select the last option: Only teachers can post and comment. This way, all students will not have the possibility to comment on your posts and assignments. Now tap on Join. You have joined this classroom. On the main page, we have the stream. This is a summary of all major work done in the class. You will find here posts, assignments, and any other information your teacher will share. In some classes, the teacher will allow you to share with your class posts. You can do that by taping here and write what you need. On every post, you can also add comments, of course, if this is allowed. Tap on add class comment. Write a comment and hit send. Now let's tap on Classwork. Here you will find materials, assignments, questions sent by your teacher. If an icon is blue, it means you need to give an answer or need to post some work for it.
